The living room of this New York city Duplex is overlooking a terrace.
It is providing the owners with a much needed enjoyable outdoor space from the city hustle and bustle and, at this present time creating a beautiful space to bear the stay at home social distancing.
We furnished it with light comfortable pieces, touches of colors, for colorful accents and a lush flowery landscaping background to create a sunny escape in the heart of New York city.
To achieve this effortless inviting look, we recommend a few steps.
1- Keep the space open
A small space always look bigger if kept clutter free. It also leaves a lot more space to enjoy and entertain and for the kids to roller skate.
2-Plant some greenery Integrate a combination of evergreen trees and plants and some seasonal plants and flowers for color. It also creates a natural outdoor setting, perfect for alfresco dinners and a relaxing retreat. Here we ensured a beautiful ldiversity of plants and planter sizes for a natural tailored look.
3- Love your Furnishing
Choose pieces that are comfortable and easy maintenance. We went with light seating furniture pieces in the same clean modern style as the inside of the home furnishing. The neutral colors are also letting the landscaping shine. We also introduced pop of color with side stools
