Every designed space is unique and has to be a direct representation of its homeowners. I strive to reflect my clients personalities, functional needs and design tastes within each element of the space.
I had the opportunity to design a home interior focused on a family with Indian heritage. The owners wanted a cheerful and inviting living space to accommodate their lifestyle with the kids and family gatherings. They had accumulated several beautiful Indian furniture pieces over the years which needed tone showcased.
The inspiration were the colors of India, togetherness and an overall sense of traditions and blessings.
The unique Indian carved oversized doors greet you in the foyer, celebrating every visitors and blessing the home.
The rich deep wall colors and embroidered fabrics create a warm atmosphere with their lively colors. And, the beautifully carved furniture and wall hangings generate incredible focal points throughout the home.
Each piece is one fo a kind and convey the unique personality and appreciation for beautiful creations of the home owners.
These unique elements are perfectly paired with more contemporary pieces throughout the interior and provide this family with a very unique home. This illustrate the importance and richness of diversity in interiors.
