Its coolness helps people relax and take life at a more leisurely pace.
Blue is one of the easiest colors to decorate with. Blue will appeal to a wide range of people because it is a calm and relaxing color.
In Feng Shui, blue corresponds to the water element. This element connects to flowing water, so if you place a water feature in a water room, you are balancing the existing energies there. Water is a support for the career area of your home. Water is also a also seen as a positive activator that can help accumulate wealth, increasing your prosperity, as it is always moving positive Chi energy around the home.

You might not want to use Blue in a already cold space, because it will tend to cool a room even more. You also may not want to use it in a room without much natural light as darker shades of blue can sometimes feel depressing and gloomy.
